in memoriam

Dr. Klaus Kalchschmidt (✝ 2022) - Developer of the Triple Pelvic Osteotomy according to Tönnis / Kalchschmidt for the treatment of symptomatic hip joint dysplasia, formerly Municipal Hospital Dortmund

Anyone who knew him and experienced him will miss him more than words can express. He was a teacher, a mentor, a broadly interested, intellectual person (naturally a continuous reader of a good newspaper) and also a friend. One may hope (and there really is no doubt) that God will lovingly accompany him on his further journeys every new day...
